Congratulations to the Morgan Academic Teams for a strong showing at the State Competition at Purdue on Saturday. Both the Math and English teams were state qualifiers. Fax Sedivy and Evan Virgo represented Morgan well for Math. Saturday's Social Studies team representatives, consisting of Amelia Sutherlin, Thomas Ary, Becca Bruce, Luke Drozd, and Mesay Taylor, finished third in the state on Saturday, showing their expertise in all things related to the history of Ireland in the 20th century. We are so proud of Morgan's great year in the Academic Bowl!
ALL incoming 8th graders through incoming seniors the Farm Progress Show parents/student call out meetings are this week! Wednesday from 6 to 7 PM in the MT ag building and Thursday from 6 to 7 at the Porter County Careers Center. Please email ruth.stoner@eastporter.k12.in.us if you have any questions!
This trip is open to all incoming 8th graders - seniors at ALL Porter County schools. Students do not need to be in FFA to be a part of this trip.
DECA Club meeting for all 8th - 11th grade students interested in being in DECA next school year on Wednesday May 14 at 7:15am in D116 (Mr. Patz's room).
Want to help plan fun events like dances, Homecoming, and Secret Santa? Join Student Council! Incoming freshmen and current students can pick up a petition form in the office. Return it to Ms. Bell or the office by May 15. New members are welcome at our final meeting on May 16 during SRT.
Middle School Drama Club. If you would like to help with the Red Carpet Awards, you can sign up on the bulletin board. You can either be a speaker and announce the award or a presenter and hand off the award. There is one mandatory practice on May 15th and the awards are May 16th. If you have questions, please see Audrey Sutherlin, Molly Schultz or Ava Pozil for more details.
High School Academic Awards will be May 22nd at 1:00 in the big high school gym
Middle School Academic Awards will be Wed. May 28th at 7:45 a.m.

There will be a callout meeting for MS girls softball Thursday May 15 in D113 during lunch. The 2025 middle school softball season is currently open to upcoming 7th and 8th graders based on turn out. There will be a callout meeting for MS girls volleyball Wednesday May 14 in D113 during lunch. If you’re going to be in 7th or 8th grade and are interested in volleyball please make it a priority to attend.” We will have a HS Boys XC callout meeting Thursday. We need 8th graders to attend along with HS boys. Meet during HS lunch by room D1 The High school girls track team competed at the PCC meet at Kouts this past Saturday. The ladies did a fantastic job boasting amazing grit, hard work, and success! The team placed 2nd overall. All Conference honors went to the 4x800 relay team of Isabella Bryan, Ella Buchko, Shae Bucher, and Vanessa Parsons, Greta Pressel in Pole Vault, Shae Bucher in the 1600, Dana Abbring in the 3200, and Becca Byvoets in shot and discus.
