Morgan Township’s Academic Superbowl teams made an impressive showing at the first round of competition hosted at Purdue University Northwest this evening. Competing against schools from across the region, our students demonstrated their hard work, dedication, and knowledge in a variety of subject areas.
Leading the way, the Fine Arts team—consisting of Emma Short, Addison Modglin, and Tessa Johnson—earned top honors, securing a first-place finish. Their achievement highlights their strong understanding of artistic movements, historical context, and influential works in the fine arts category.
Coach Erin Taylor stated that she was so proud of all of her contestants and praised them for their hard work over the past several weeks. "These boys and girls love the spirit of competition and the challenge that an event such as this provides."
The Math team also had a stellar performance, taking home second place, while the Social Studies team proudly claimed third place in their division.
Congratulations to all our Academic Superbowl participants for their hard work and success. Morgan Township is proud of your efforts and looks forward to seeing what the next round of competition brings!
