The PCC Basketball Tournament week is a thrilling celebration of school spirit, competition, and tradition. Throughout the week, the atmosphere in the gym is electric, with students, faculty, and fans coming together to cheer on their teams. One of the most exciting aspects of the tournament is the pep blocks, where each school designs a special theme for the boys' game that everyone participates in—sometimes even the administrators! This adds a fun, festive element to the event, as schools compete not only on the court but also in showing off their school pride and creativity.

At Morgan Township, the pep block themes are a big highlight. For the boys' game, the theme is always a fun competition between surfers and bikers, creating a lively and entertaining atmosphere. For the girls' game, Morgan Township students go all out with two different themes: one for the Green and Gold and another for Whiteout. These spirited themes energize the stands, bringing together students, teachers, and even parents who embrace the playful rivalry and add to the festive spirit.

The games themselves are played in front of packed stands, with every play drawing cheers and chants from the enthusiastic crowd. The stakes are high, as teams not only compete for the win but also for bragging rights. The competition isn't just about basketball skills—it's about the pride of having the best pep block, the loudest cheer/dance squad, and the most passionate fan base. Fans know that these victories and traditions carry lasting importance, as they reflect the heart and soul of their schools.

Another thrilling aspect of the tournament is the traveling trophies: the Victory Keg for boys' basketball and the Victory Kup for girls' basketball. These trophies are painted in the winning team's school colors and decorated according to their style, then proudly displayed at center court during every conference game. The team who holds the trophy gets to carry it around until they lose it to another opponent, keeping the excitement alive all season long. Whether it's the students, players, or administrators, everyone feels the weight of the tournament and the glory of the victory, knowing that the ultimate prize is more than just a trophy—it's about maintaining the pride and tradition of their school year after year.
