Homecoming weekend always brings some great activities that create even better memories. On Friday afternoon, the weekend began with a pep rally that was loaded with laughs! The homecoming court was introduced and then participated in 3 different games. Musical chairs was a ball as all nominee’s battled for first place and bragging rights! This led to many laughs as the candidates fought for chairs and many fell to the floor in shock that they had been beat! The funniest moment came during the balloon popping game when Bradley Farris jumped as high as he could I to the air to pop the balloon on Kaleb Pepper’s face as Kaleb’s eyes went from wide as can be to slammed shut as he braved for impact! The pop of the balloon sent the spectators into an uproar of laughter!

Later in the evening, at the basketball game, we crowned our prince and princess (Mesay Taylor and Isabella Bryan) and our king and queen (Kaleb Pepper and Vanessa Parsons). The crowd roared to life as the names were introduced. Peyton Honchar, last years homecoming queen helped to crown all 4 winners.

Though the game didn’t end as we’d hope - falling to Boone Grove 58-56, it did bring with it many exciting moments and an energized crowd! Both teams battled back and forth with several lead changes along the way. Clint Lemmons, Kaleb Pepper, and Jett Gheaja led the way with 13 a piece.

Saturday night was the crescendo to the weekend at the dance! The DJ brought the energy, and the students matched it with some crazy dance moves! Everyone looked so dapper in the suits and dresses. The DJ handed out glow sticks that were used to jump around with to the heat of some of our students favorite songs. By 9:30, the students were exhausted.
