The 8th grade boy’s basketball team traveled to Kouts last night in the semi-finals of the PCC. The game was tight, with the Morgan boy’s playing some of their best basketball of the season, but unfortunately Kouts was playing their best basketball also. The Cherokee’s fought until the end in the loss and finished the season 13-2. Aiden Modglin played big minutes and provided outstanding defense alongside Gavin Lamere who played his best defense of the season while also adding 10 points. Clayton Atchison was named the impact player of the game winning his 4th Cherokee award for his play on both sides of the ball and set a new season scoring record of 23 points beating the previous record of 22 set by Gavin Lamere. Thanks for the great show you put on all season Cherokee’s, we’re proud of you.

The 7th boys basketball season unfortunately came to an end last night in the Semi-Final round of PCC against Kouts.  It was a tough game for sure but the boys fought hard and gave everything they had, all the way to the end.  It was a great season that had some big moments with each player improving in some fashion this year.

Coach Willingham, and the staff would like to thank the parents and fans for all their support this season.  The 7th grade boys are a great group of young men that have a bright future ahead of them on and off the court.
