No 6th grade boys BB practice tonight.  It has been canceled

7th and 8th grade boy’s basketball practice will end at 4:30, not 4pm.

The Morgan 8th grade boy’s basketball team moves to 6-0 in last night's conference matchup vs South Central. Strong on both sides of the floor, Morgan set the tone early with an unanswered scoring run to start the game. Cade Lemmons went off for 19, followed by Clayton Atchison with 17 and Heath Rubarts with 9. Austin Schultz got into a defensive role providing needed rebounds, multiple interceptions and a handful of blocks. Austin’s strong play earned him one of two Cherokee awards, and making the rare appearance was a second Cherokee Award, given to Cade Lemmons for his tough and balanced play on both sides of the court. Great win Cherokees.

This team is in action again on Thursday night at Kouts.

The 7th grade boys had an impression last night against south central to start PCC play. Trey Willingham led the team with 20 points, James Hines led the team with 5 steals and Wyatt Craigin provided another great spark off the bench. They are now 3-3 for the season and 1-0 in conferences. They continue conference play on Thursday night against Kouts.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

And now for a moment of silence

Thank you and It’s a great day to be a Cherokee!
