SOCK DRIVE - Did you know that tens of thousands of people die every year due to the dangerous conditions of living without housing. That is why this year Key Club is organizing a sock drive starting this Friday and continuing throughout the month of November, in order to help those in need stay warm this winter. Please donate new socks to the boxes set up around the school to help make a difference in the community. Thank you!

Juniors and Seniors, Please remember to check your Guidance Google Classrooms at least 1x per week for important updates. Also, the World Affairs Conference is coming up next Friday. We are still looking for 2 or 3 other students that are interested in attending this event that focuses around AI in the workforce, how it’s being utilized, and the good, bad, and the ugly of its implementation. This event will involve some breakout sessions with which you will hear from professionals in this field. The sign up for this event is located in the Junior and Senior Guidance Google Classrooms.

The 7th Grade Boys kicked off their season with a win by defeating Fegley last night 24-18. Trey Willingham led the team with 9 points followed by Jake Hines with 8. Next week they have their home opener on Tuesday Night against Union Township.
“Boy’s 8th grade basketball opened their season on the road in convincing fashion with a win over Fegely.
Gavin Lamere and Clayton Atchison lead the way with 12 points each followed by Austin Schulz who dropped in 6. Strong play by the entire bench resulted in a 47-14 win for Morgan.
Gavin Lamere was named as the Cherokee Award recipient. Congratulations on the win men. Come cheer on this team at their home opener against Union Township on Tuesday.”
