Congratulations to the middle school boys and girls cross country teams on their round robin wins last night! They are the undefeated champs! Our boys team was led by the one and only Kaleb Freyenberger who tied his 10:19 PR from state last year as he ran away with first place! Adding to our team score was Mattix in 3rd, Rocko in 4th, Austin in 8th, Bradley in 9th, and Blake Higgins in 10th. The ladies team was led by McKenna in 3rd. Adding to the girls team score was Clara in 4th, Lilly in 5th, Anna in 6th, Kayla in 8th, and Brooke in 10th. Great job Cherokees and good luck at Willow Creek on Saturday!
Girls JV and varsity volleyball
We have had issues finding a driver for the girls' games tomorrow with the recent change in location. As such the bus driver taking the girls tomorrow is from Washington and cannot be at Morgan for pick up until 4:30pm. That being the case, the JV game time will be pushed back to sometime between 5:15 and 5:30 to accommodate enough time for the girls to warm up.
At this time I ask that we all stand for the pledge of allegiance to the flag…
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
And now for a moment of silence…
Thank you and it’s a great day to be a Cherokee!
