NEWS

Mrs. Martin’s lost and found collection of water bottles is growing. If you think you have lost a water bottle please come to the office to check for it. Lost and found items will be donated next Tuesday.

There will be a High school baseball meeting on Thursday November 16th at 7:20 am in Coach Smith's room. 

All boys and girls high school basketball players need to report to the gym at 2:30 during SRT on Thursday for a picture. Girls teams will wear their dark uniforms. Boys teams will wear their white uniforms.

CLUBS

Please help support the Spanish Club by donating to their Thanksgiving food drive. They would appreciate it if you donated Thanksgiving related canned and dry goods all throughout the month of November. Donations will go to the Salvation Army and a local church. Please bring donations to Mrs. Snemis' room (D133).

Don’t forget about FCA’s Thanksgiving celebration on Thursday at 7am in the library for all teachers and staff and student body.  Light breakfast will be served, come join us! 

SPORTS

The varsity boys basketball team will host Illiana Christian in a five-quarter scrimmage on Thursday. Tip off is scheduled for 5:30 PM. Come get a sneak peak at the team!

The JV Lady Cherokees defeated Michigan City last night 39-32. Leading the team in scoring was Addison LaMere with 16 points. Genevieve Turney scored 8, Maddie Pramuk had 7, Gianna Lemmons had 4, and Ashley Grieger chipped in 3. It was a great team effort and the girls are now 2-2 in their season. Go Cherokees! 

The varsity girls basketball team beat Michigan City last night by a score of 54-42. Leading the team was Peyton Honchar with 22 points, Madi Lemmons with 15 while Shiloh Deboard chipped in with 8 points. The Lady Cherokees are now 5-0 on the season.
