NEWS
Today is the last chance to pick up your lost and found items off the tables outside the office. Everything left will be donated today.
Student Council will be available at lunch to answer questions and provide information about the upcoming East Porter Blood Drive on November 1st. Anyone age 16 or older can donate. Donors will receive a $10 gift card, and Morgan is competing with Kouts and Washington for the most donations! Come out to save a life and support the Cherokees.
CLUBS
Hi Morgan High School and Middle School! Key Club is putting on a sock drive from October 17th-31st. Please bring in new or gently used socks to be donated to the St. Paul Clothing Center and the New Creation Resale shop and men’s center. As we are moving into the winter months it is essential to have socks to keep warm so please donate your socks in one of the boxes located around the school! Happy Socktober!
High School Art Club's annual Cookies and Canvas event is ready for sign ups! The event will be Thursday November 16th from 6-8pm, cost is $30 per person. Please RSVP with payment to Mrs. Braun by Friday November 10th.
SPORTS
The 7th grade girls volleyball team was victorious over Kouts in the PCC semi final. Cadence Albers led with 4 aces and 6 kills, McKenna Bucher had 4 aces and 1 kill, Brooke Parsons had 1 ace and 5 kills, and Addison Story had 4 aces and 1 kill. Come cheer them on at the PCC championship!
Morgan 8th grade girls volleyball advances to the championship PCC game after a dominating win over Kouts. It was a great rematch and the 8th graders came to play and win. Madison Gelon led the team with aces and Shiloh Otey, Landry Braun, and Kaylee Krieger were tough at the net. Everyone contributed to the win in digs, and we are excited to face Boone in the championship tonight.
