Good morning, Morgan! Here is your Interact Club with a FINAL THANK YOU and a report on our Purple Pinky Raffle. Thanks to you, we have collected $350 - which was more than our goal of $300. The lucky winner of the Rotary International $50 Visa card is Ellie Higgins and the winner of the $50 Rotary Club's Chick-O-Fillet is Lucal L. from 6th grade. Congratulations and a BIG thank you to the winners and to ALL of Morgan for making this Purple Pinky Fundraiser a success!
Lost and found items that are not claimed will be donated Wednesday. Don’t forget to check out the table for your items before Wednesday.
CLUBS
Hi Morgan High School and Middle School! Key Club is putting on a sock drive from October 17th-31st. Please bring in new or gently used socks to be donated to the St. Paul Clothing Center and the New Creation Resale shop and men’s center. As we are moving into the winter months it is essential to have socks to keep warm so please donate your socks in one of the boxes located around the school! Happy Socktober!
SPORTS
STATE BOUND! The girls XC team is headed to State! They had a strong showing on the tough and muddy course at New Prairie. They will be one of only 25 teams throughout the state heading to Terre Haute next Saturday. They will be the only 1A team running!
Dana led the team placing 8th overall, Peyton followed her in 10th place.
Emmy followed running in 26th place. Isabella had a strong showing finishing in 31st place. Audrey ran a season best time finishing 50th overall.
Vanessa and Shae had good showings for a strong team finish!
Great work this season ladies!
