CLUBS
Hi Morgan High School and Middle School! Key Club is putting on a sock drive from October 17th-31st. Please bring in new or gently used socks to be donated to the St. Paul Clothing Center and the New Creation Resale shop and men’s center. As we are moving into the winter months it is essential to have socks to keep warm so please donate your socks in one of the boxes located around the school! Happy Socktober!
Hi there, Morgan! It’s your Interact Club with an exciting update on our Purple Pinky fundraiser! We have collected $273 and are so close to our goal of $300. Today is the last day you can make a difference in the fight against polio. Stop by our Purple Pinky station and help us reach our goal. Also, DO NOT FORGET - the upcoming Monday is the Purple Out Day! Wear anything with purple in it to show your support for our mission. We will also select the lucky winners of our Purple Pinky Ruffle. Way to go, Cherokees! We knew you could do it!
SPORTS
The 7th grade girls volleyball ended their regular season 7-2 with a win against Westville! The team served up 25 aces, led by Kennedy Holman and Elyse Coffman each with 5 and Raelyn Brooks with 4. Peyton Duttlinger, Serenity Gearhart, and Addison Woelfel also added to the serving aces. The girls start PCC Monday against Westville.
The 8th grade girls volleyball team had a great win over Westville! Everyone played tough and serving was key to our success. Our game continues to improve at the net with many contributing in blocks and kills. Looking forward to our PCC Tournament match-up against Westville on Monday!
