NEWS
Seniors: please return your senior envelopes to Mrs. Tomak by Friday October 13.
The middle school dance committee will meet at lunch on Wednesday in Mrs. George’s room.
Any 7th or 8th grade girls that are interested in cheerleading this winter and did not attend the call out meeting should email Mrs. Mateer no later than Wednesday, October 11th by 3pm and let her know of your interest. No new sign ups will be taken after this time.
Freshman, a reminder that Class Officer Petitions are due NO LATER THAN Monday, October 16 if you want to be on the ballot. They can be turned into Mrs. Wells or Mrs. George. Late petitions will not be accepted.
The annual middle school Halloween dance will be held on Friday, October 20th, from 6-7:30. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5 per person, with all proceeds going to benefit Riley's Children's Hospital. Dress is casual or wear your Halloween costume to compete for a prize! One boy and one girl winner will be picked from each grade.
Attention Middle and High School Spell Bowl Teams - Don't forget! Please bring $10 for your T-shirt to Mrs. Taylor in Room B126 by Friday!
CLUBS
DECA Meeting for all members this Friday October 13th at 7:20am in Mr. Patz's Room! Please attend!
Attention all High Schoolers, Key Club’s first meeting is this Friday the 13th during SRT in the cafeteria, please bring your $12 dues and a bag of candy for our Treats for Troops collection that will be shipped next week! We look forward to seeing you there on Friday!
There will be an FFA Chapter Meeting during SRT on Friday in the agriculture building! Only dues paying members can attend. If you still want to be in FFA - it's not too late! Just turn in your dues to the middle school/high school office by Friday! We'll have fall snacks and will be packing snack bags for farmers.
SPORTS
The 7th grade girls volleyball team played hard against Boone Grove but ultimately fell in game 3. Addison Story led with 4 aces and 1 kill, Cadence Albers with 3 aces and 2 kills, Serenity Gearhart also added an ace and 1 hit. Lots of great volleys ladies, good luck Thursday when we play Hebron.
The 8th grade girls volleyball team came up a little short against the Wolves but had a great team effort. Lilie Dippo led the team with digs and Brenna Bernard with saves. Carly Hand was our top server again. Looking forward to our last home game this Thursday vs Hebron.
