Due to unforeseen circumstances, East Porter will not have a quorum for tonight’s board meeting, with only three members available. We will meet briefly, but no official business will be conducted. The meeting will be postponed, and a new date will be announced once determined.

Bee ticket winners 9/27/2024. Way to go everyone!

The fourth grade classes had an amazing trip to the Grand Kankakee Marsh. Students learned about sandhill cranes, fur trading, the water shed and much more! Most importantly, they went canoeing. Fun was had by all!

We are Bee - ing Amazing at KES.


Mrs. Hinkle was able to spend some time with kindergarten as their secret reader this past week. They enjoyed hearing the story Ribbit!

STEM class is in full swing at KES. Mrs. Eichelberger is working with grade k-2 on science standards. Kindergarten are learning about the sun and created model structures to keep help cool from the sun.







The fourth graders in Mrs. Miller's 4th grade class worked on some problem solving games and had a great time competing with their friends.





October is National Farm to School Month. Although it’s a little early, East Porter has celebrated the Great Apple Crunch event by serving locally grown apples in our cafeterias. Elementary students have decorated the Cafeterias with their art work. We’ve also served some different apple sides. We look forward to featuring locally grown pumpkins in October!
