Boys Soccer shutout Marquette Catholic Saturday 3-0. Stellar defense led by Jake Weltzin and Logan Atchison paved the way to victory. Cooper Spagna got the scoring started in the first half from an assist by Jake. Brayden Cuson scored twice in the second half to secure the win. Assists were from Noah Barker and Chance Hunsley. Next up the boys travel to Boone Grove Thursday.
CLUBS
Chess Club meets today in D111 from 3-4:30 pm.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes callout meeting will be this Thursday at 7am. You do not have to be an athlete to attend! If you have any questions the officers will be available during lunch this week passing out flyers with more information.

SPORTS
High school girls basketball fall weight workouts start today from 3:00-4:30 in the weight room. This is for all players not already participating in a fall sport. You must have your physical complete and turned in before attending the workouts. The next workout will be Thursday, August 31st.
On Saturday, the boy's cross country team competed at the Richard Jay Invitational. The boys were led by Clint Lemmons with a third place finish and followed closely by Mason Koch, Kendell Herma, and Colter Hannon. All four boys placed in the top 20.
Last Saturday the girls XC team ran away with the Morton Invite. Taking 9 of the top 11 spots. Dana took the top spot, followed by Shae in 2nd, Audrey in 3rd, Vanessa in 5th, Isabella in 6th, Jenna in 7th, followed by Megan in 8th. It was a solid team race! The ladies showed some great team support
The ladies are back in action Tuesday at Hebron in the first of 2 round robin meets.
