This weekend, the soils team participated in the Tri County Soils Invitational. Our team placed third! Kristin O'Dell, Carter Stoner, Nathan Stoner, Logan Grieger, and Lane Banks all did phenomenal! Great job everyone! 


FCA will be holding the annual See You at the Pole Wednesday, September 23 at 7:20 a.m around the flagpole outside the main doors! Everyone is welcome to come pray for our families, school, community, country, and world! Hope to see you there!


There will be a callout meeting for the Inclusion and Diversity Club during SRP on September 30th in the Guidance Office. This club was created to provide a safe space not only for people but also their opinions and their passions. ID club aims to improve our school and world in any small way we can.  If you are looking for a place to help you grow and where you can be yourself feel free to come to our first meeting! Please email or stop in and see Ms Axarides in the guidance office if you have questions. 


Reminder to vocational students that the Porter County Career Center classes will be following Valpo's 1/2 day schedule on Friday, September 25th and will not have the afternoon classes.




The girls XC team travelled to New Prairie HS last Saturday. The team came home with a win in the 1A division. Leading the team to victory was Emma finishing 3rd, Klaire finished on 6th, Makenn in 7th, Shelby on 17th.She was followed by Megan in 31st and Madie in 32nd. In the JV race, Maria ran away with a 1st place finish, she was followed by Fenja in 4th place. Great job ladies.

The boys also took home the 1A title at New Prairie. Owen Thomas won the race with a PR, and his teammates followed suit. Josh Kutkiewicz finished third overall, Ty Ivanyo PR’d in 6th, Reed Lawless also PR’d with a 7th place finish, and Keegan Holder rounded out the top 5 with a 13th place sub 18 minute PR! Morgan dominated the JV race as well, coming in 1st through 5th for a perfect score. Harrison Deporter took first, closely followed by Jamen Barker, Quinn O’Brien, Xander Bryan, and Liam Hanna . Great job, Cherokee cross country.
